The 2018 BET Awards took place yesterday (June 24) at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. Africa was duly represented at the award as Nigeria’s Davido snatched the award for “Best International Act” and South Africa’s Sjava walked away with the trophy for “Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act”. Kendrick Lamar took home the most prizes, from best male hip hop artist and album of the year for “DAMN.” Beyonce was crowned the best female R&B/pop artist, and Cardi B won for best female hip hop artist. BETAwards: Davido Pays Homage To D’Banj

Nigerian pop star Davido made us proud at the just-concluded BET Awards as the singer edged-out a slew of global heavyweights to win the award for “Best International Act”. As the singer mounted the BET main stage to receive his trophy, he paid homage to Nigerian pop veteran and sent his condolences over the devastating news of the  demise of D’Banj’s son .  “I want to send my condolences to my big brother D’Banj… He actually paved the way for us. Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie lost her mother about a month ago and was off social media since then. The actress has now shared photos from her mother burial and also a message to grieving artiste D’banj who lost his son yesterday, June 24th. Mercy in Mourning Mercy captioned the photos: “We said our final goodbye to our loving mother a few days ago. Adieu, Mama. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support during this time. A very disturbing video shows a man bleeding after his penis was cut off by a husband who caught him having sex with his wife. According to online reports, the wounded man was having sex with his lover in her matrimonial home. The husband walked in on the disrespectful scene and instantly got revenge by cutting off the man's male member.   In the video shared online, the man is seen sitting, possibly in shock, as onlookers took photos of what's left of his bleeding penis. Actress Toyin Abraham apologises to Mercy Aigbe weeks after their IG spat

Few weeks ago, Nollywood actresses, Mercy Aigbe and Toyin Abraham, had a spat on IG. Trouble started when Mercy went to congratulate Toyin Aimakhu's ex-husband, Adeniyi Johnson's fiancee, on their upcoming wedding. This morning, singing duo Mamuzee Twins were called out on social media by Daddy Showkey who accused them of neglecting their mother for 17 years until she died at the Igando General Hospital a few days ago. Wa Tiba inside the python’s belly Angry villagers have cut open a python’s belly after it swallowed a 54-year-old woman Wa Tiba, in her farm in Indonesia Tiba went missing while tending to her vegetable garden near her village on Muna Island in Southeast Sulawesi province on Thursday, according to the village chief, Faris. When her family went to look for her, they found only her belongings in the garden, including her sandals, a machete and a flashlight. The villagers subsequently launched a search for her but were horrified to find a 23-foot-long python with a severely bloated belly just 50 yards from the garden.
